The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
